Pros

Tons of free lunches covered by the company. If you are a high level favorite you will be promoted.

Cons

Executive Level can't see into the future and are too busy putting out fires that could have been prevented. Every meeting is disorganized and good luck ever seeing the CEO come out of his state of the art office. When you speak up of ways to help the company save money or red flag a broken process that could be potentially harmful to the company as a whole, you are punished by bullying.

Pros

Work-life balance was good. Commute was good.

Cons

The company is being prepped for sale. No job is safe. Once the sale is completed, hopefully the new owner will bring stability. The CEO, CFO and CIO are all new. All VPs (other than the warehouse VP) have now been replaced.

Pros

Great benefits for full time only. Paid holidays. sometimes it can be a fun place to work when it's just the regular staff there. Get to be independent most of the time. You can have a good work/life balance if the Company/ Upper management will let you.

Cons

Constant major floor changes and visual updates. Hard to hire due to lack of incentive to work there. DM is very negative. They don't want you to take a weekend off, despite policy of one weekend a month off. Will threaten to deny earned vacation/personal days off. Constantly have to adapt to the constant changes and focuses monthly. Turnover is high because the DM comes in and creates for a negative work environment, basically insults store visually and individuals on the team. Client-books! Parent magazine selling! Texting constantly from DM when ever even if it is your off time.
