Total lack of leadership and inspiration!

Friendly consultants who unfortunately do not know how good it is on the other side with other businesses.

Cons

There is a serious lack of leadership and inspiration in this business. There is no culture or any aspect that makes working in recruitment fun here! Consultants are treated like children with the radio only allowed to be put on if they are "good" Senior management from the Sydney office do not have people skills and lack any sort of inspiring management skills. Prior to COVID there was no working from home allowed and no trust. Pool tables and xbox really doesn't mean anything if there is no culture and people are too scared to leave their desks! It's such a shame as there are some really good consultants in that business who would thrive with a better culture!

Overall good name in the industry but terrible culture

Market Name and they get incoming jobs on the larger desks

Cons

Over my time with the business there where some solid people but management and the 'senior' members of the business just aren't right. Egotistical and only care about their own (6/7 within the business). People usually spend a year or two with them before they realise the poor way they are being treated. Three people have left within a week of each other for the same reasons. MD of the business is never in one team leader can do what he wants with no regard of anyone else

Good training structure Progression available if you are dedicated and work hard Rewards for hard work Good team members in my time there that offer advise and assistance Good brand and relationships to levy off

Cons

Directors approach to his employees is poor - consistently poor/awful behavior in my time there - lacks social awareness and his effect on people. Things that have happened into the business swept under the rug and everyone talks about it without being addressed by the business
