There just isn't enough parking for people at the company. If you work here, forget about going out for lunch as you are parked in. It's an issue for years, with nothing being done about it. If there ever was a massive signboard telling the world that this company is not able to plan and can only work on reaction, a few years late, that is it.
Technology is no longer relevant. This is no longer a technology company pushing boundaries across the board. It's a big grey corporate working at a snails pace.
Do not under any circumstances make your manager look bad by having a good idea. They take it personally and you won't be getting any performance reviews. You end up being very unproductive, doing very little but getting a big bonus because your boss looks great.
You only get ahead in this place by playing golf with the right people, or sucking up. You get given a promotion if you are able to make the people above your new role look good
People don't take responsibility for things. Issues are finger pointed to everyone else. There is no accountability.
The company is not able to get people with experience, or skills. They are mostly taking on graduates every month, and give them big massive projects to run with. So most things going out the door looks like a 3rd year graduate project.
There is "mentoring" and "Coaching" as a requirement for performance bonus, but it is just for show. There is no technical leadership, good design practices or such things. People do the mentoring to get a bonus, and spread their bad ideas everywhere.
Everyone punts the free food. It's the same boring menu they repeat over and over and over. The facilities staff spend more time running their sideline cafe than actually fixing things. The lift in the building has been broken for years.
