Could care less about banquet staff, poor pay, little/no benefits, food is extremely low quality, most people think the staff is getting a percentage -- but this is not accurate

No work-life balance. Certain employees/managers are just expected to be moody and snappy and you need to tiptoe around them. LOW paying and wages are not competitive for the amount of work and dedication expected. No paid vacation days for the first year (archaic policy). Threatened to lower wages when they had to pay overtime for salaried workers because so many employees work well over 40 hours - made employees feel unappreciated.
