Pros

If you're a recent college grad it's an okay option for a first job.

Cons

I was an employee at DD for over 4 years and got to see the transition from good times to bad. I've since moved on, but wanted to offer an honest outlook of the company as it stands now. Most of the reviews that you'll see here were written before things deteriorated. The C level leadership checked out from the business a long time ago and effectively abandoned their employees. When things started to turn bad they immediately blamed the people on the ground doing the work instead of reflecting on how they got there and what they could do to make things better. Leadership has been aloof, impossible to tie down to a plan or goals, and sometimes outright deceptive. They've finally reached out and hired a new CEO with some experience, but her solution so far has been to fire everyone that's not directly related to development of a solution. It's hard to create a quality product when no one is selling it, no one is planning it, and no one is testing it. Pay at DD has never been comparable to market rates, but they try to convince people that the culture is enough to make up the difference. That was a viable position to take a few years ago, but now there is no reason to take poor pay and toxic culture. The work isn't terribly interesting. You'll execute on the same basic structure over and over again building some simple reports and databases. There is no competitive advantage or 'secret sauce' literally anyone can do what DD does. On the rare occasion that you get to do something outside of this pattern it's because sales vastly oversold DD's capabilities and is never held accountable for the feasibility of their promises.

Pros

The employees here are top notch and are great to work with. They are smart and driven and will support you with anything you need. Its a great place to work to get a year or two of work experience out of college and then move on to better places that will pay you what you are worth!

Cons

The leadership team has taken a turn for the worst! They have added so many C level positions that are proving to make things around here more difficult and stressful. There used to be a great work life balance but that looks to be going out the window as well now. The owner, used to be pretty hands on a present but over the last 2 years has become pretty much MIA and listens to advisers that do not work for the company to make decisions regarding the people who work here. This place started to go down hill when they brought in several C level people. Since then, it's become a race to the bottom. I know of about a dozen people who are currently looking to get out of here and it's a race to the door. You are underpaid and that was ok when it was a great culture. But that is fading quickly and you aren't going to get paid more to make up for it.

Pros

This company seemed like a great place to start a career in King County. It was a fun atmosphere that allowed you to work along side some extremely talented individuals.

Cons

Management doesn't care/doesn't have a clue Sales teams look out for themselves and are allowed to draw up bogus contracts that can't possibly be met which force projects to go WAY over budget and scope Company can't keep employees or business Management doesn't care about employees People throw each other under the bus frequently
