Pros
There is always something new happening, always a new challenge. I get to work with a group of very talented scientists and engineers. Because DeTect has radar systems deployed all over the world, travel to various countries is almost guaranteed for upper level folks. DeTect is one of the very few employers that pays 100% medical (health, vision, and dental) for employee and family.
Cons
Sometimes the complete lack of planning can get to me. Most of the time, things are in emergency mode. Cash flow is a bit of feast or famine. There seems to be a mentality that "as long as the check will clear" anything goes. Once the money slows down, things get interesting.
