DaBella Exteriors is a horrible company!

Pros

Drinking on the job is encouraged. As well as passive agessive behavior and shady business tactics.

Cons

DaBella exteriors is a completely terrible company. For starters the company has unacceptable methods of bashing home owners and twisting there arm to sign up for thier product estimates which are roofing, windows, siding. They preach and teach you to terrorize the home owners and to not let off until they slam the door in your face, they teach you to argue with homeowners and to pester them into uncomfortability. Secondly, because of a small salary in a addition to commission based pay, the workplace environment is extremely sharky with most coworkers displaying passive aggressive negative comments and bashing eachother with negative false hopeful comments even in company wide meeting, discouraging a persons advancements as well as sales. Thirdly, I have witnessed multiple employees at this company show up and report for work intoxicated with the managers and supervisors recognizing and become aware of this problem and making no corrections or disiplinary actions against it, therefore encouraging it. Fourthly the company has bad hours which keep you away from a normal 8-5 schedule functioning family. Fifthly the ONLY thing the managers care about are your sales so THEY can benefit from the bonus. If you aren't achieving your appointment scheduling which lead to sales they become passive aggressive and make snarky comments. As well as threatening your loss of a job if you don't perform to thier immoral standard of menacing and intimidating home owners into signing up for the company's appointments. Sixthly, this company doesn't accept you taking or having to be excused work for any reason. They claim only "family emergencies or if you are deathly ill." If you do have to miss work for a family emergency "which I have endured" they threaten you with termination unless you perform to your managers par for the day of menacing homeowners into signing up for appointments. One coworker had to be excused from work for a family emergency and they punished him by deducting his bonus. I do not ever reccomend working for this company.

Oh Yes that's right we all encourage alcoholism, and ask all interviewees to bring a fifth with them too*… LOL *Anyone reading the above review who believes this at all, then we recommend not applying with our company. We are a family company with high values and we absolutely do not allow or tolerate drinking or being intoxicated on the job. As a company internal and external customer service is our top priority. We offer excellent products and services and train all representatives on our products and the differences that they offer, so in turn they may share this with the homeowners they speak with. We carry a positive work atmosphere always encouraging our employees to succeed. Whenever they have concerns or struggles they are encouraged to bring them to their manager or if they do not feel comfortable doing so any employee is welcome to speak with HR here in the office as well. Every company has policies and procedures which they put in place in order for operations to run smoothly. Here each employee is given all expectations regarding the companies policies and procedures in their company handbook, this includes information on time off and extenuating circumstances/family emergencies. As a family company we understand when true unexpected emergencies arise. Each situation is addressed individually to ensure it is handled with the appropriate action. We strive to provide all of our employees with great pay, benefits, and the resources that they need to be successful and grow with the company. • Passion for our work and our customers • Commitment for helping you make homes the best they can be! • Selling things to last, with quality materials and a level of craftsmanship we can stand behind • Treat our customers’ homes as our own, with loving care and attention to detail • Exclusive Eco Friendly, American made products • Strong lifetime warranties to guarantee the highest quality • Amazing internal employee and external customer service • Factory trained installers This is “The DaBella Difference!”

Don't be fooled by the good reviews

Pros

It feels really nice when you quit. A real weight off the shoulders.

Cons

First of all, the positive reviews are written by upper management, who are given incentives to write them. That, in it of itself, is an excellent representation of how the company is run. They are coercive and shady. They really don't care about the employees at all, hence why it is a commission only pay scale for sales reps. They don't reimburse you for gas, there are no benefits, and there is no control over your schedule. When I was hired, they talked extensively about how there would be ongoing training and someone always there to answer questions. Well, whenever I asked a question, my boss responded with an anecdotal story of a time he made a huge sale and made a lot of money. It is a classless organization where they expect the sales reps to be at their beck and call, but treat them with as much respect as a fly on a windshield. Don't waste your time.

Thank you for your input, and perspective. All reviews left on our site both positive and negative are left by random employees, ranging from entry-level up to senior management. Under no circumstances do we incentivize Any employee to leave positive reviews. We continuously ask employees throughout the month to leave their honest feedback in glassdoor reviews as all feedback helps us grow and improve for the better as a company. Thank you once again for your input in regards to your experience as a sales rep, the perspective you have shared will be passed on to all of our sales managers and will be a talking point for us to grow from in our next Directors meeting.

Joke of a company

Pros

Not to many now a days there where when I first stared. Vision was good, pay was good, advancements where abundant.

Cons

Don’t believe the reviews from current employees! It’s a lie. Dabella when they have bad reviews goes around and asked all their current employees to go on and write positive reviews to Barrie why they consider the “bad ones.” Don’t waste your time here, if your a true professional salesman you won’t wanna work here with constant changes to your pay plan multiple times a year and constant changes to the sales process makes it difficult stay on top of your game. The CFO is a heartless and only cares about what’s in it for him and how to advance him self. Sense he has come to the company things like the “family feel” of Dabella and moral has gone down hill. The CEO use to be amazing before the wedge of his divorce lead to him going off the deep end and now allows people like the CFO to run his company. you never see him around the office like we use to before the divorce he is always in meetings or “some thing else”. No longer participated in sales meetings or recognitions meetings. They have you read books about leadership and then throw them out the window when it does not fit what they want or need.
