Pros

The benefits cover mental healthcare. You'll need it.

Cons

All the profit goes to Partners, VPs, and some in sales. Work is not equally dispersed. Not a progressive company in the slightest.

Pros

After 6 months, you'll have good benefits

Cons

Upper management is not committed to diversity and inclusion, despite advertising their company culture as progressive and starting a powerless task force. They regularly retaliate against employees who bring up HR problems.

Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience. Please allow us to respond to some concerns you raised. We take your comments very seriously as we've invested a lot of time and energy to create a work culture that is supportive, inclusive, and reflects our values. If you felt, at any time, that a situation was cause for concern, we have multiple channels to provide feedback, including anonymous feedback via the intranet, staff satisfaction surveys, DEI surveys, pulse checks, meeting with a member of senior leadership and/or HR, engaging with our outside HR consultant, or using our 800# for anonymous feedback. While we understand that Glassdoor is an easy venue for reviews, it's difficult to be able to address concerns after the fact and in this mode. We will continue to push forward in our efforts to improve DEI and our culture across the organization. Additionally, our benefits package is available to new team members shortly after they're onboarded, including our 100% employer-paid, platinum level healthcare benefits, FSA, commuter benefits, cell phone and internet reimbursement, and more. Again, it's unfortunate that your experience was not overly positive. We are open to discussing any direct feedback that you'd be willing to share with us. We wish you all the best.

Pros

There are some good people there. I can’t think of anything else. They do not value their employees at all. If you are a white male, you will get far here.

Cons

Nobody in senior leadership is actually a leader. The COO is a total lost cause. She has no clue what she’s doing and barely comes to work. Is more concerned with friendships than she is the job. HR is absolutely horrible and nobody trust her. If you have any grievances you want to address there isn’t a safe space. The COO is best friends with the same person you are supposed to be able to express yourself to. Needless to say, only work here is you’re willing to be a total yes man.

While this is disheartening to read, we appreciate you sharing your thoughts. It’s unfortunate that the work that we do, along with our dedicated and active Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Task Force, was not apparent during your work experience. We care about our team members here. We invite you to have a further discussion with us at your convenience. Our door is always open to current and former employees. If you would like to talk you can give us a call at (202)888-7780 or email hr@dspolitical.com. Thank you and take good care.
