Pros

Standard market compensation and salary, travel, opportunity to grow, health and dental insurance, nothing else really, diverse staff, social coworkers

Cons

HORRIBLE work/life balance, too much politics, toxic staff and coworkers, HR is very biased and always secretive.. marketing department had 6 people come and go in one year (2016) for the same positions. There is one person in the marketing department that everyone hates. They make your life hell, super unorganized, don't know how to prioritize, will waste time on stupid things and then ask you to stay after hours to complete the work.. management keeps talking crap about other people with their own employees (how stupid). there are two marketing roles.. both roles do stupid kiddish work that even high schoolers can do. you don't learn anything at all. The management in the marketing department literally throws her phone on the table and the floor when they are angry. They use swear words for their coworkers and counterparts. They reveal secrets of other people in other department in anger and are always in the worst mood ever. You will never see a smile on their face. Has a horrrrrrible work life balance and expects the same from you.

Pros

Autonomy, but mainly because others have no idea what to do so are happy for you to take something off their plate. Some great hard working people, unfortunately this is normally knocked out of them very quickly or they burn out from the majority that are not or they leave pretty quickly. Some areas want to change, but lack the support and resource to do it.

Cons

Terrible views from senior management of their employees and engagement. Lack of even basic HR principles across the board. Lack of pace, strategy and vision to move the business forward. - getting as big as possible as fast as possible is not a sustainable visionary strategy. The business is really an umbrella company with 300 businesses operating independently under it. Lack of discipline and reprimand for under performers or coasters. Good work is generally looked over because management has a different opinion, even when they only have rhetoric to support it. Terrible culture, people are even banned from entering the head office. Engagement survey results are the worst I have ever seen in any business.

Pros

Some growth potential, apparently you can travel on he job but don't even depend on that happening because it probably won't.

Cons

Management is terrible, false promises in terms of job environment, staff is very under appreciated and the work environment is unprofessional. You guys have a lot of work to do if you want your company to flourish. Despicable.
