      - Opportunities for growth and larger responsibilities within the company - Beautiful office location and workplace environment - Important company values and work done in the global health field - Great leadership in management and they work hard to lead the company in a successful direction

      - There are high expectations for the team and therefore not a place for those who are not up for the challenge

      Pros

      With the amount of growth that has occurred over the last year, it's exciting that the amount of opportunities afforded every staff member remains intact. To feel free to express ideas and given the time to explore new ideas while maintaining the current workload is exciting. The owners are generous and keep abreast of how all employees are faring. They show their appreciation in many different ways. The employees are smart, helpful, and are always given opportunities to shine. It makes coming to work each day exciting.

      Cons

      It has been interesting to watch the company move from being "small" to feeling more "medium" in size. With growth comes a bit of angst--mostly with lack of space and the knowledge that more people need to be hired. The owners have been addressing this, and are making efforts to ensure that everyone has a proper workspace.

      Pros

      There were none while I was there.

      Cons

      Distant location on outskirts of city with difficult parking/transit. Salary and benefits were not even close to competitive for the industry, and owners complained incessantly about what a hardship it was to offer what little they did provide. Very small staff, which seemed like it would make for a close, friendly environment, but it was instead cold, competitive for no discernable reason, and impersonal in the extreme. Owners' conservative political and religious viewpoints were inappropriately incorporated into workplace decisions and conversations. Company is virtually unknown in Pharma/Biotech, even within the same city. Used a single, aging technology that was being phased out in the rest of the industry.
