Pros

Good benefits. Decent Pay. Retirement Plan. Enjoyed co-workers

Cons

Will not accept call-ins for anything. Dual key control locks you into being REQUIRED to come in, even if you call in or ARE ON VACATION if something happens. Supervisor was horrific and scheduled time to benefit her time off and then you came second. No sympathy for anything. SALES SALES SALES. This job is NOT to benefit members. Clearly. It is to make money off of you. So while you are crying in front of a representative because you need a loan for a funeral, know that while they as a person might care, they are trained to go through every way they can get more money from your situation. Incentives are horrible. Leadership is cowardly and empty. Refuse to waive fees for members regardless of what is happening in your life to "teach you a lesson".

Pros

Good retirement plan Decent Pay but slow movement

Cons

Tight dresscode, pay raises are convoluted and based on how management feels about performance. Management is free to act how they want in own branch and make same mistakes as tellers but not be written up for it. Facade when dealing with customers, and hassle about presenting items that you didn't ask for. The incentive for management is ridiculously high so they will breathe down your neck with threats of firing or being moved if you aren't selling products to everyone. And I mean everyone. Even the same friendly member you saw the day before on the same lunch break time to do the same cash withdrawal.

Pros

Absolutely nothing I can think of. I do hear other members complain about the merger and how they miss the old LSI days. Me too. I tell members to jump ship, we are the Titanic and I am re-arranging the deck chairs.

Cons

Always have a tag line for each member. They don't want to hear that. Most can't afford a mortgage or loan or have bad credit. They come in once a week and try to offer them something? I just want to do my job, cash checks, and leave at 5pm. Dress code is also tough. Suit and tie everyday for cashing checks. Really?
