Pros

Bright, engaging and inspiring people. Some of the best I've worked with. Wonderful location and offices, housed with Adam &Eve and others. Great vibe, great hospitality..incl free lunches and monthly agency meeting with food and booze..

Cons

Absolute. Chaos. Ridiculously hooked on so many processes and back to back meetings..with little thought of rationale... Impossible to breathe, think, and work effectively and creatively. Unsustainable stress and the worst internal collaboration I have Ever Seen. Unsupportive, although it claims to be. Micromanagement and myopic thinking. Great vision at the very top...the Strategic Team are excellent, clever and impressive thinkers. The creatives are a great bunch but departments don't collaborate. Political and un-meritocratic... don't expect to be able to perform to the best of yoyr abilities...you'll be too busy trying to take some control of your work, fight for transparency, keep your head from spinning and out of panic mode. There's a feeling of mania and mayhem and lack of staff stewardship. The long serving members are protected..it's cliquey...but unless you're compliant and mold-able you may have to fight. Striking lack of adherence to values they claim to uphold. A great great shame as there are many quality people. But lack of client management and poor vision means working there feels like you're trying to running-balance on a large ball that's hurtling downhill at speed, over bumps, whilst being chased by wild animals.

Pros

Can be social + mostly nice people

Cons

Controlling environment, no trust, writers treated like internal freelancers which means it's very transactional work. No praise when you do well. Senior Leadership Team instil fear in those below them, which trickles down (extra ironic as one of their 'values' is 'Freedom to Fail'). They've recently been told to track people's whereabouts if not in the office - transparency, trust and creative freedom should really be prioritised but this still isn't the case unfortunately. Had a pretty bad experience here and would never recommend to work here, especially for a writer.

Pros

- The head of operations is the most amazing woman - Most people are friendly and welcoming - Share an office building with a truly creative agency, Adam and Eve DDB

Cons

I have never worked in a more chaotic environment in my entire career. People are actually physically running around the office or not answering teams calls or if they do theve jumped off within seconds. The process is unmanageable and creates an extreme amount of admin work for the accounts team- you better hope your brands are important enough to be allocated a project manager but even then people get pulled from your team so regularly to fill other leaks that they probs won't be around long anyway. Nobody could be bothered to support or train me when I started, was sort of just left to pick up things for myself. Inexperienced leaders in the team meant I was often given a very unmanageable amount of work to complete in a single day which often meant 4 hours overtime in a single day. Was gaslit by senior leadership team when I tried to raise this and they also acknowledge how chaotic the processes are but are not doing anything to change it, I think their time is spent hiring new staff to fill the leaks left by the highest turnover rate Ive ever seen. I actually don't think I saw a single piece of creative work the whole time I was there or none that was shared by other teams in the all agency meetings - basically a medcomms agency that tries to position themselves as creative. I'd challenge you to ask them in your interview about any creative campaigns they have rolled out and I doubt they would be able to share any with you. There are better ran and more creative pharma agencies in London, I'd highly recommend you go there instead
