      Pros

      No minimum balance requirement. Unlimited withdrawals allowed in a month across all channels, including ATM withdrawals. Basic banking services and cheque books will be made available. No limit on the number of deposits that can be made in a month.

      Cons

      Funding the account requires you to visit the branch. There is no provision for online, cashless deposits. Access to a stable internet connection is a prerequisite for internet banking. Without it, you cannot use any internet banking functions. Not securing your account with strong passwords can leave it susceptible and vulnerable to internet fraud.
