My experience with DA Languages has been very disappointing due to unresolved payment issues and poor communication. I completed work at the beginning of April, but the assignment never appeared in the agency's app or payment records. I reported the issue 0n the next day and provided the relevant information, expecting it to be resolved promptly. However, despite repeated follow-ups over the following two months, I never received any meaningful updates on the status of the case and only discovered that I haven't been for that assignment 2 months later on payment day. Throughout this period, it was extremely difficult to get answers. I was unable to speak directly with anyone from the payments team and was told only that I needed to wait for an IT investigation. No clear timeline was provided, and my emails and payment queries were either unanswered or met with generic responses that did not address the problem. While technical issues can happen, leaving a contractor unpaid for more than two months with little communication is not acceptable. Professional agencies should have effective processes for resolving payment disputes and should keep freelancers informed throughout the process. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this agency to freelancers who value timely payment and responsive support.
