      Incompetent senior management

      Pros

      The core technology is very promising, and the tech people working close to customers are very knowledgable and creative.

      Cons

      The CEO and the people he surrounds himself with are incompetent. They know nothing about the market in which Cxense competes, they hire people with irrelevant expertise, and they know little about strategy. Any promise of support, compensation or opportunities cannot be trusted, which makes it hard to focus on the important thing: Creating value.

      The technology is good - when it works. The ideas behind what the technology is all good - when it works.

      Cons

      So much is wrong, CEO is less than useless and zero idea about how to run a company, motivate, lead, manage or communicate. Is so bad it now feels a joke

      Pros

      Interesting technology. The pay was good while it lasted.

      Cons

      The company recently shuttered nearly all US operations and laid off the entire team. I don't know if they'll try to hire more people, but there is no reason to believe they are willing to make any investment in success in North America. Norwegian management is incredibly short-sighted and strategically inept. They do not accept input from anyone outside of Oslo and cannot see farther than the stock price. There is no patience for ROI. They expect instant results and cannot fathom that business takes time. I would not work for this company or this leadership team again.
