Lack of support, very demanding, tight deadlines, small budgets

Lack of clear roles- engineers are treated as project managers, drafters and field techs all in one. Unsustainable travel options with minimal compensation for the personal sacrifice. Growing pains with unclear processes, last minute changes and shifting policies. Pay does not reflect the high expectations and heavy travel demands. Lodging polices prioritize airbnbs over hotels which means shared, uncomfortable and poorly maintained accommodations.
