Pros

Most people are nice and chill, and there are good communities for sports and games . You get to work on nice IPs. The benefits are ok, especially bupa, bupa dental and pension up to 6%. CA tries to care for the wellfare of their employees. Career progression is somewhat clear, at least for programmers.

Cons

At the moment CA is suffering a financial and identity crisis due to years of bad decisions from management. Nowadays many studio updates talk about "change" without anything concrete being proposed, while every few months new layoffs are announced. There are some toxic people and some people who are terrible at their job but they are just there because nobody kicked them out back in the days and now it's like ~10 years that they are there and have fossilized into CA. SEGA being a japanese company, we have to follow japanese market rules. This means every time management starts working on layoffs they can't tell us until it's announced to the japanese market. This will never change until rules in japan change or SEGA sells CA to another company but every time we get the heartbreaking email of apologies from the various CEOs which to be honest add insult to injury. Salaries are Horsham salaries.

Pros

It is a good place some of the best people that I have met work here.

Cons

Poor technical leadership mixed together with investing in the wrong products. Assuming Total war can't grow in userbase or installs caused a cycle of deinvestment and churning copies of previous games.
