Pros

Being around books and materials and working in a diverse environment. It's a great learning experience.

Cons

Favoritism and office politics. People are promoted based on upper management's own personal thoughts rather than skills. Many people have been passed for promotions because of this.

Pretty easy job, good for someone who is content to slide by

Cons

Very little room for advancement, pay is the worst in the Bay Area for the work. Work hard, get a couple years experience and excellent referrals lined up, and then start applying elsewhere.
