Pros

Fun and challenging. An innovative global youth travel brand. Opportunities to work across all aspects of the business - IT, sales, marketing, operations and as Trip Managers/Drivers. From a marketing and communications perspective, a great chance to work with media, influencers and YouTube stars. Expect to travel around the world for work.

Cons

Not for the faint-hearted or you will get left behind. Be prepared to work hard to get up to speed.

Pros

Travel the world, meet (some) cool people

Cons

Horrible treatment, no support, stressed environment. Once you make it through the ridiculous training which includes no sleep, unsafe practices, yelling and even being spat on, you get to become a Tour Manager. But don't worry, they'll still treat you badly and proper sleep will feel like a distant memory.

Reprimanded for sick day taken for miscarriage.

Pros

Free/discounted travel, fun events attended in the role.

Cons

The team was very click-y and very jealous. If you were successful and not in the "click", they made an active effort to make your day to day as difficult as possible. Unpaid extended work hours were expected, an average of at least 10+ hours a week more. At one point I had to take a last minute sick day as I had a miscarriage through the night and notified my line manager as soon as possible and followed all procedures. A year later (after that line manager moved on for the above reasons) the new line manager pulled this sick day up in a meeting with HR using it as an example of how I was unreliable. I was let go with 4 weeks pay in that meeting and the new manager proceeded to replace me with their close friend. I was so grateful to be walking out of that job that day knowing I never had to go back, even under those circumstances and with no job prospects.
