I worked at CSG last year for close 9months, and I feel compelled to share my experience so others are aware of what they might be walking into. The company presents itself as an opportunity for business ownership and financial freedom, but in reality, it operates more like an MLM (multi-level marketing) scheme, where the focus is on recruiting rather than actual business growth.
I was expected to work 12-14 hours a day, often with no real compensation for my time, and despite working long hours, I was barely making minimum wage. The company’s promises of business ownership and financial success are empty; they encourage you to keep pushing with the hope that things will get better, but they never do.
Management continuously pressures you to stay, often guilting you into staying longer or taking on more tasks by dangling the promise of business ownership in front of you, but in the end, it felt like an endless cycle of working harder for less. The long commute added to the exhaustion, and the toxic environment made it even harder to leave.
If you’re looking for a stable job with fair compensation and respect for your time and efforts, I’d strongly advise looking elsewhere. I wish I had known sooner about the reality behind the glossy pitch.
