Pros

The people, those who do the work, those that are client facing. Marketing team.

Cons

Company buys books of businesses making promises that are never delivered, causing chaos and backlogs for current clients and payroll processors. Silos for critical data in multiple platforms creating repetitive data entry and missed information vital to taxes and payroll accuracy. Wasted hours in endless meetings talking about how to make more money and never any discussions about how to take care of clients needs. Poor management that never works together for the betterment of employees or clients and have become habitual time wasters. Negligent to the needs of the employees nationwide counting on accurate pay. Buys companies promising to make the transition from current payroll platforms to a platform being beta tested on that client base and current clients with a technology that doesn’t perform simple tasks leaving the staff that was purchased stressed out, upset dealing with livid clients and leaving the purchased employees holding the bag, ConnectPay leadership repeatedly has employees managing client base on employees free time after wasting hours of said employees in meetings that accomplish nothing, refusing overtime and gaslighting employees after eating away at their work hours with nonsensical meetings.

Pros

- Good work/life balance - Room for advancement

Cons

- Marketing Manager spent her whole career as a Graphic Designer until she was handed the position by the COO, who she had worked for previously. - All divisions have regular days where they can work from home, except the Marketing Department. - Marketing Manager has no concept of strategy and uses outside vendors to prop up organic traffic numbers - Social media presence is non-existent and there has been no focus on growing those numbers - While the rest of the company is growing, the Marketing team is in a state of constant rebuilding.

Benefits and flexibilty Not a bad company

Cons

The job itself is not bad at all. The clients are great and some of the employees are great as well. There are some bad apples that spoil this bunch and little to nothing will be done about their bad behavior. If you are a person of color i strongly suggest you weigh your options before applying. You will face a toxic environment and will be one of the only persons of color,
