      Getting worse day by day

      Pros

      Great fax technology, no need to learn anything new, if you are a mediocre engineer you'll be a superstar at Conexant.

      Cons

      Entire business is based on fax and other low-tech chips, no growth opportunities, gave up on reviews and raises years ago, they keep cutting benefits.

      Pros

      No longer any pros. It will be luck to survive. Golden Gate will lose their shirts.

      Cons

      The CEO(s) and board are responsible for the company strategy that has sunk the company. It is headed for bankruptcy. i feel sorry for the rank and file that has stayed around and will now have to look for jobs in Orange County. Terrible CEOs, board and senior executives over the last 10-15 years were responsible for drving a good company down. Unfortunatefly a lot of them filled their coffers. I wont be surprised if the current CEO tries to blame the former management for the state of the company. Not entirely true he had a hand in the current and former management.

      Pros

      Strong technical team, good products. Supportive team environment. Enjoyed working with all the engineers I came in contact with across the company.

      Cons

      Tough competitors in the product space. Some concern about the immediate future but company should be able to weather the storm.
