Pros

None that i can think of

Cons

Almost all units have same work culture and everyone is overloaded which boils down to work on weekends. Outdated Product management who has no clue on whats happening in industry and keeps on bluffing. Legacy architects whose superficial understanding of technologies has resulted in major design goof ups , the consequences of which are faced by developers who have to slog many day and nights to correct the wrongdoings. No proper leaders most of them are micro managers. These MBS unit legacy product managers/VP's are outdated and have no clue how other companies are functioning. They have their own draconian style of functioning which involves terrorizing subordinates. The companies relies too much on freshers and is consequently bearing the brunt of it who have produced products whose quality is not so good ,which in turn leads to lot of frustration. Have seen many experienced people leave and they just replace them with freshers. No proper hikes.. In the name of so called learning people are dumped with huge activities. This in turn leads not learning anything as people multitask across activities gaining only very superficial knowledge. Plans are changed on whims and fancies of leaders You have to clock minimum 9 hours and that is tracked. You will get mail if you work for less than 9 hours the very next day. Horrible work life balance. So called product development team has one team coming from six months continuously for every weekends and also "stretching" late on weekdays i.e upto midnight. Almost every 2 weeks there are last working day of some employee.. Salary is inflated and made to look big , but there are loopholes..Like for example TAB(Tenure assured bonus). This is 10% of your monthly salary and will be taken back from you once you leave company if you have not completed so called milestones..These milestones happen on May 31 and Dec 31. So if you quit on Sep ..Then TAB from May to Nov will be recovered which is like your whole month salary. HR is not at all bothered why people are leaving company?Basically they are powerless and just dummies. The whole show is run by VP's and managers. Overall an horrible work experience. Just join if you have no other option left. But again then it will be a big mistake

Pros

just few 1) Very frank CEO 2)Got to work direct on the project(No chance you get on bench)

Cons

lots of( i m not anti comviva) 1)Work culture: a) There is nothing called work culture here b) They hire from very good colleges like NIT, BIT, BITS,VIT,Manipal etc (started from 2011)but there is huge gap in the expectation and skill at the middle layer(Managerial Layer ). There are three level of employees in comviva. Level 1 :- People at top level like CEO,CTO etc they are very open. The Business Development team are also very effiicient(newly hired are from IIMs). Level 2 :- People who have owned the legacy and continuing this company from very long time(more than 8-10 yrs), few were joined this company as fresher and still continuing. These are managers. Level 3 :- People who are at the bottom so called engineers at all level like engineer, sr. engineer, lead engineer etc. Now Level 1 thinks that we are hiring best engineers so we are going to get way ahead. Level 3 thinks that this is a product based company there is lot more to learn than any other service based company and package is good(marginal to service based companies). They are correct at this point. Now comes Level 3. This people are so inefficient that they hardly have any leadership quality and forget about resource management. Most of the time they themselves are confused and they treat the quality resource as unskilled labour. Level 3 people are neither from good college nor from good company so can't bring good work culture in the place. 2)Team outing and team lunch will be like a dream came true for you. If you have planned for team lunch managers get surprised and may ask you also "team lunch for wat?". They may even call you from outing if you have gone to work 3)Some of managers come late to ofc so they go late. but there expectation is you have to be sitting in your work space till they leave. If you are a kind of guy works who want work-life balance... worst place to work for. if you follow timing of leaving at 6:15pm you will get worst rating while appraisal irrespective of your contribution in official working hours. 4)In compensation there is a component which is life time trap in company(similar to bond) which you will have to pay any time you leave this company irrespective of how many years you have worked here. so the main aim is to make work you without paying or minimum in notice period because its not in the companies interest. 5)Its not in the companies interest to pay you extra if you are working on weekend or extra hour beyond the official working hours. They give 1 day compensatory leave for every two days extra work. HR explains it as a policy to avoid the habit of working in weekends but managers will call you to work. Then they say its requirement of the project.

Pros

If you work on few selected projects you will get to work on the best technologies. Overall don't find anything special here

Cons

1) Payscale is really bad. Lot of unnecessary deduction from your salary. They will stop the variable pay and there is no hike for 1.5 years. Hike is not good now. Previously hike was good like 5 years back . Now since its a Mahindra undertaking don't expect great hike. 2) Work will be assigned based on the task completion, forgot about your technology expertise you will interviewed as Backend developer and after joining you will be tagged as front end developer, and assign task on that. No offence to front end developer but its ruins someone's else career. 3) HR is the worst unit here. Once you resigned they will not even negotiate and let you go even if you are CEO of the company. 4) Lot of blame games in few projects, they don't differentiate between personal and professional life. 5) You will promoted without salary hike. With 4 years of experience you will be given Solution Architect role but will be payed like a Software Engineer 6) Haven't handled the pandemic situation effectively. Only support they did is not firing employees which they are very proud off. 7) Current they are only focused on revenue not on employee's personal and professional growth. 8) Workwise TL don't know how to manage project. TL will call you in evening and ask you what you did from morning. Give every minute status. 9) You will regret your stay , once you join it will be really difficult to leave as they have 3 months of notice period and it will not be reduced by a day 10) The have there own professional ethics bible "The Comviva Way" but hardly see anyone following it. 11) Lateral hired will not be promoted and payed less
