CNS - Good, Bad or Ugly?

Pros

Good option for freshers to start here. Nice office space. You'll find your buddies here. Salary in time. Available transportation. Plenty of free time. This can be several months for someone.

Cons

Not a good option to stay a long period of time. You will have to work on legacy projects. Seniors fear new technologies and that fear will grasp you eventually. Salary review is a feature of good eyes and bad eyes. Hard work doesn't matter much. Efforts can't be seen here. Most seniors can't even see their own feet. Free time kills the potential to work on more challenging projects. Some people work on legacy projects and it's hard for them to move on to new projects and adapt to the current techs. Which makes people more dependant to the company. And so you have to oblige by what they say or provide. And most of all no standard pay scale for everyone. There are 2 types of developers here one comes from IDB and others are cs grads. The peculiar thins they also made a seperate hiararchy for IDB students. IDB students are less paid than cs grads although they do the same work here. And also people here shows cold shoulder to IDB students ignoring their capability. The most important part is while leaving this institution you might have an heartache. Be prepared.
