I have been working in IT through temporary agencies and consulting companies for decades. I have written or spoken negatively about one and only one agency I have worked through - these folks. First, they do not have any sort of internet system for submitting your hours. I was given or told three separate methods for submitting my hours, all of which were incorrect. I finally had to get what I needed from a peer who had been through a few payroll cycles with them. When my gig ended (and I should add that was handled in a very unprofessional manner as well) I was told how to submit my hours, only to be told by the accounting person three days before pay day that the method was incorrect and I had no hours submitted. I do not expect much from these agencies. If they get me in the door and get me paid they have done almost all that can be reasonably expected. Having to go around in circles just to get your money is completely unacceptable.
