Pros

- Remote work. - Some great colleagues and a couple of skilled Team Leaders.

Cons

From the outside, the company looks great. But from the inside... it's a complete disaster: -C Level management lacks the academic and emotional intelligence to ensure the smooth running of the company. The two owners are not to be trusted. -Too many abrupt changes of strategy, looking for culprits among the lower employees, but never among the higher levels. In many cases, the decisions that are made do not make sense if the data collected is taken into account. -They boast of being a technology company, but the level of development and technology is much lower than they claim. -Lack of beneficts, micromanagement, good communication is not a given. -Some managers are more interested in pleasing their superiors than in doing a good job and managing the team properly. Just another intermediary that does not bring any value to the market.

Great facade, ugly truth

Pros

- remote - multicultural at the bottom of the hierarchy - a couple of great team leads on the lower level

Cons

The path this company went through is just sad. From a fairly small team of 30 people to 100 in a very short time, with a fake "diversity" at its core that mainly included hiring young people on visas and offering them unfair contracts. The management is completely not diverse, with barely any women, not mentioning non-Germans. There were many cases of sudden layoffs of some members of the teams, including C-level that was absolutely not communicated in a proper way. There was full-on toxicity, gaslighting and mistreatment of employees by offering them promotions with unfair salary raises below the brackets promised to all. There was absolutely no will for new remote employees to sustain relationships with colleagues, pretty much focused on getting the salary, so the culture was poor and - as mentioned before - mainly toxic. I know a couple of people who had to leave becauseof all this, myself included.

False Promises & Beginning of Amazon Culture

Pros

Remote culture (if they had kept their word) Recruitment process (because they kept their word)

Cons

If you interview for a 100% remote position, get hired months before the start date, and then get told merely weeks before you are meant to start that the role involves major international traveling, something which was never mentioned during the recruitment process, then this is simply unprofessional. No discussion, no conversation about it, simply "take it or leave it". Not even an attempt to resolve it. Coming from a company who claims culture is one of its biggest assets and focus areas. Obviously this is just a claim and nothing else. Stay away.
