Toxic poorly managed team with not much planning or personal development

Pros

Some good discounts on electronics at Apple etc. Good communication with CEO who had weekly meetings to explain company

Cons

Team was toxic mostly because of two people who were senior and could do no wrong in eyes of department manager who had no clue how to manage people and no control over team, not even pulling up people for bad language or verbally abusing staff in open meetings. Seems this isn't unique to our department heard similar things from other groups, company has really high turnover of staff and doesn't have a lot of process on anything.

Working from home full time

I am at a loss for words for this company. Don't listen to the whole "we listen to your feedback". I asked the trainer if we were getting one to one feedback and I was met with aggression and job threats. I asked HR to step in and they were very defensive and deflected the issue back to me.

Decent pay compared to other companies in a customer service capacity

Cons

The company is absolutely useless. Installations never go right, we are given no tools to actually assist a customer and inter department communication is a joke. Managers can't help you. Systems are awful since binning zendesk. Complete waste of energy working for this company.

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback. CFL’s no.1 aim is to put our colleagues and customers first, and best believe we’re always striving to improve. In 2022 Customer Service underwent a massive ‘make over’ in terms of management, processes, systems(to name a few) which stemmed from not only trial and error but also the feedback we received directly from the team, to which we take very seriously. Of course we know things don’t get fixed overnight but we do believe we’re on the right track. May I encourage you to speak to your manager if you have any further concerns. Also, If you don’t feel that is an option, please speak to a member of The People Team and they will be able to guide you. We really do want all employees to be happy in their roles.
