This is a sales job, with extremely low pay. You drive anywhere from 1-2 hours to random small towns and sell makeup while stressing its a “crazy deal”. The pitch they teach you to use is beefed up and essentially a lie. A selling point was that the makeup retailed for $60... when in reality, on their website it’s listed for $30. It felt wrong.
I worked 60 hour work weeks and was never able to meet the daily goal besides one time. AKA I only ever took home my base pay.. which after taxes was $450.
With each bag you sell to whatever poor soul falls for this scheme, you receive $7. BUT, if you don’t meet that threshold... you don’t take home the compensation on all other bags sold.
You won’t have a life outside of work if you choose to join this company. Forget about trying to hit the gym or spend time with friends.
