Do not work for CFLS (Colonial Fuel and Lubricants)
Pros
Great pay and pretty good benefits. The owner really cares about his employees. I felt so welcomed to a company. There is a great company party each year where you meet everyone. Great Christmas Bonuses. The Owner really makes this company different. I wish every subsidy had an owner like the overall owner.
Cons
CFLS is a subsidy of Colonial Group. Their new management is focused on numbers and they do not care about employees. They do not give performance reviews or even Annual reviews. They do not give you any warning before terminations. They also force older generations into early retirement if they feel it's necessary. The New hires are no longer getting commissions and everyone is signing non-competes for 2 years. New programs are installed to micro manage and measure performance but once again no performance reviews along the way.
