Pros

Directly connecting with the client and working with giants in travel industry. Good place to polish your Java knowledge

Cons

Mainly bug fixing, Some times need to work overtime which doesn't necessarily pay you. Company hierarchy is strongly visible, sometimes a new comer will not fit right in.

Pros

You have atleast a job title, so you can tell your friends or relatives once they ask what you are doing.

Cons

If you are from a non state university and applying to work as a developer(Since most of the graduates from state universities tend to work as developers , competition with private university candidates has been mainly created around this role) , then think 100 times before taking the decision to work here. Because in here majority is from state universities so they don't know how to respect to the ones are from private universities . They will never trust your work or your skill. Even the salaries are also low compared to the ones are from the state universities for the same job role . The phrase work life balance not even exist at Codegen .They will monitor(micro management) your work during the remote working through a software (Because they don't even trust their own employees) . They don't care about your personal well-being . They will tell some fancy words or phrases like "Family", "Reach us anytime you need" during the induction process, but remember they don't care . My advice is if you are unemployed then remain the same rather than being a slave here.

Pros

There are none worth mentioning anymore.

Cons

CodeGen International is a place that slowly erodes everything good in your life until you’re left hollow. The office is drenched in toxicity constant politics, blame shifting from aggressive leads, and a culture where you’re made to feel worthless. You’re loaded with an impossible pile of Jira tasks that no one could finish in a standard workday, forcing endless overtime, late nights, and weekends with zero support no taxis, no meals, nothing. Activity trackers monitor every second, ensuring you’re chained to your desk for 8+ hours daily. The CEO, polished for TV appearances, is erratic and out of touch in person. He demands constant keyboard noise because “thinking isn’t needed AI will handle it,” and has made bizarre claims about meditation granted superpowers and flying to Mars through wisdom alone. His impulsive decisions have drained the company profits from the core business funneled into unsuccessful side ventures like Vega and ETX electric vehicles, which produce no revenue while CodeGen deteriorates. Benefits have been gutted. Transportation, annual trips, events all gone. New hires get zero leaves, not even medical or short leaves in the first year. Even permanent staff must wait years for basic entitlements. Some salaries quietly reduced, and increments are minimal or nonexistent, thanks to a bloated, unhelpful HR department that secretly manipulates evaluations downgrading scores behind the scenes to block deserved raises and promotions, no matter how hard you’ve worked. Management mirrors the top indifferent, toxic, and quick to blame. Resignations are welcomed without notice periods, a sign they’re desperate to shed staff without payouts (they can't afford VRS I think). High turnover speaks volumes good people leave, replaced sometimes by underprepared interns, lowering quality further. This isn’t just a job, it’s a slow unraveling of your mental health, family, and relationships. Marriages strain, personal lives collapse under the weight. If you have any choice, stay far away. No paycheck justifies this level of misery it will leave you regretting every moment and wondering how you let it drain you so completely.
