Pros

The management team is taking steps to make the company better. There is no health insurance premium taken out of your check. Pretty good company if you want to coast to retirement.

Cons

There is a huge education and experience gap in certain departments which makes it hard for effective communication to exist and feels like you are walking on eggshells because the passive aggressive level is very high. Cross departmental communication feels more like a blame game than actual team work. You have to get everything in explicit detailed writing when it comes to your compensation package, because they will tell you one thing in the interview process, another when you're hired, and something completely different after you've been working there. The pay is about $10K yearly less than other companies for in-office employees, bonuses are discretionary (which means you get one if they like you but don't bank on it), and some people there want to make you look as low as possible to make themselves look superior. I've had an extremely difficult time working for this company but that is not everyone's experience even though you will have about half of your co-workers telling you about the other jobs they are applying for.

Pros

Compensation for higher level employees is above industry average. Open door policy with management. Open to ideas and often willing to invest in them.

Cons

Little training and career development. Poor morale and company culture. Management often says one thing and does another, creating animosity and confusion. Most folks have one foot out the door due to management's seemingly arbitrary hiring and firing practices.
