Pros

Club Automation (and it's parent company, Daxko) pride themselves on their work culture and they are not remiss in doing so. It is evident that his company strives to provide a work culture that supports its employees. One of the areas they promote the most is mental health, encouraging their employees to prioritize their mental health over anything else. Also, being a company in the fitness industry, they encourage and promote physical health especially by providing a $100/month gym membership reimbursement. I have loved every team I have been apart of and felt very encouraged and supported by every leader I have had. It is also quite easy to grow within CA/Daxko. I personally received two promotions within one year at the company. Overall a great place to work culture wise.

Cons

If you are looking for outstanding pay, you will not find it here. Over 202-2021, Daxko/Club Automation - after receiving many complaints from employees - launched an entire investigation into the competitiveness of their pay among other companies in our industry. An all company meeting was held to tell us (in a slightly condescending way) that, "Our pay is very average among our competitors." I still question those findings as almost every employee that leaves CA/Daxko does so to go to a very similar position for much higher pay . But moreso I was bothered that the company was elated to be average in pay. The company constantly quotes that they hire the best of the best but then are elated to pay average. Seems like a disconnect to me. Sometimes the lack in desire to pay outstanding wages makes this feel like a company where you stay for a couple years to gain experience in a good culture, then move to a company that will pay a more competitive wage.

Great People | Average Pay

Pros

The culture is amazing. Great people!

Cons

This is a stepping stone for your career - not a landing zone. They are honest about paying all their people "Average". Unfortunately, if you're an above average employee and want to be monetarily rewarded for your grind, it won't happen here. Once you hit the ceiling, you'll know.

Thank you for sharing this review. We believe we have some of the best leaders, Jeff VanDixhorn, that lead to the best culture! It is great to hear that you are taking advantage of the self paced training offered in LinkedIn Learning. We also hope you are participating in the in person development sessions taught by Senior Leaders and others (i.e. Daxko Development Rush). CA does have an internal LMS for new hires, customers and partners. Talk to your leader or a member of the People Development team to ensure you get that exposure. Thanks for all you do to contribute to this great culture!
