Pros

Interesting, fast-paced startup…lots of well meaning team members and a desire to do good.

Cons

Another review said it all: leadership is toxic and spends more time on self promotion and PR. Spend time learning about their own employee retention, impact, and satisfaction. If you’re in love with the mission, there are other players in the space that are more worthy of your energy.

Thank you for sharing this, and for the three years you gave to Clasp. We're sorry to hear these sentiments and that our intentional decision to invest in brand building and growth left you feeling this way. We are and have been actively investing in how we lead, communicate, and support our team - from executive coaching and monthly manager trainings to eNPS surveys that help us stay close to how our team is really feeling. We remain deeply committed to building something people are proud to be part of.

Pros

Clasp is one of those places where the mission isn’t just words—it shows up in the work, and it’s genuinely motivating. The team is thoughtful, collaborative, and really capable, and you get a ton of trust and ownership. If you’re proactive, you can have real impact quickly, learn a lot, and really feel like you're making a difference in people's lives. Leadership is also a big plus: Tess is extremely smart, a great visionary, and one of the kindest founders out there.

Cons

Like all startups, it’s a lot of work and long hours, especially during busy stretches. Priorities can shift quickly as the company learns, and because the team is lean you’ll wear multiple hats—which can be exciting, but also intense.

Thank you! You've captured exactly what we're trying to build: a place where the mission is real, the people are exceptional, and there's room to grow fast if you bring the right energy. We're lucky to have people like you on the team. Means a lot.

Pros

- The work we do has real impact. We help students launch meaningful careers, we connect clinicians with opportunities to serve, and we support healthcare organizations in filling critical roles that strengthen patient care in their communities! Win, win, win, win. - Our team is filled with people who care deeply about what they do, but who also bring a sense of joy and perspective to work. There’s a strong culture of respect, collaboration, and positivity here. - I’ve been especially impressed by how accessible and engaged the leadership team is. No one feels untouchable, and leaders are open to feedback, collaboration, and new ideas. They challenge us to grow while also providing the support and mentorship. We all know we’re valued as we see the many investments they make in us.

Cons

- The company’s focus on continuous improvement creates a fast-paced environment with high expectations. It’s a great fit for people who enjoy change and ongoing growth, but it may be challenging for those who prefer a more predictable or steady-paced routine.
