e been working as a van driver with CDS for a while and it’s a decent job overall. The shifts are fair and usually allow for a good work-life balance. There is weekend work involved, but the rota is manageable.
One of the best parts is the flexibility. If you want extra hours, there’s usually plenty going. If you just want to stick to your normal shifts, that’s fine too. You also get the option to work from different stores, which is handy.
The job itself is straightforward – load your van, get on the road, and make your deliveries. If you like driving and working independently, it’s a good fit.
