      Worst Job of Career...

      Pros

      Coworkers were good people, mostly due to their shared hatred of management. There weren't any other pros.

      Cons

      CEO is a megalomaniac who surrounds himself with yes-men/women. Management are all part of this group think and actively work to suppress compensation for employees. During recession, cut pay across board 15%--stated they would replace once economy recovered. This did not happen, came back as "bonus program" which goals change regularly so the company rarely if ever pays out. Change health care/insurance organizations every year. Constant belittling of employees. No information sharing of changes with employees, everything is obfuscated. Do not work here. Do not let your friends work here. It is worse than being unemployed.

      Good company to work for, but could be SO much better...

      Pros

      You get to work on some of the most cutting edge technologies out there. Our customers are constantly developing new products, and you get to see those long before they're exposed to the general public. The projects are short in duration (weeks not years) and of great variety, which keeps the job from getting boring. Fellow employees are smart and personable. The more relaxed environment and the "smallness" of the business is a great environment for those that don't need a rigid structure to enjoy their job. The entire company has an approachable feel to it, you can walk into anyone's office and have a conversation with them. Loyal to employees.

      Cons

      Hiring decision for the management team are suspect. Way too many "friends and family" in positions that should have been filled with qualified managers. That results in people that have questionable alliances, and little skill in managing people. Caustic us vs. them environment with regards to management. Even the best employees become jaded after some time, because of the seemingly random decisions being made by management.

      Pros

      Flexible hours, overtime and not a lot of micro managing. New CEO is making changes that is slowly bringing CCI out of the dark ages.

      Cons

      Pay is very low and there is a slim chance you will ever get a decent raise. Management doesn't care to listen or give you any sort of appreciation. If you come up with an innovative idea, management wont even take time to read your proposal, let alone give any feedback. There is almost no way to excel your career. Turnover rate is insane, most cant take it.
