Pros

They sell nice products. Some employees are truly gifted and love Jesus.

Cons

They advance from within ie editor becomes marketing expert with no degree. This is why the company is going south. They are afraid to tell people they aren't qualified for jobs and afraid to fire poor talent. Poor leadership from the top down. So sad. Could have been brilliant. HR is a soap opera. So much drama there.

Pros

- Pay increased over the years

Cons

- The worst politics I’ve ever seen or heard of in a work place - Management has no clue what they are doing. Most of them walk around and talk to other co-workers all day until it’s time to leave. They know everything and is the reason for any success. - Favoritism runs throughout the place. There is one clique who is basically running the company. - Supervisors makes fun of people with handicaps, curses all the time, and makes employees feel like they are worthless. They will hire anyone for that position. - Not a Christian environment - Pinch every penny they can. Hiring within because it’s cheaper doesn’t help when they aren’t qualified. - This place is run like it’s the 1980s. They have no clue about how newer technology could help them succeed. They are one step above pen and paper. - Building is falling apart - Company is losing money and going downhill fast - If your not related to this specific family here or best friends with them good luck getting anywhere - HR is rude and shares all of your info. HR has best friends around the company whom they share your info with. If you come to HR with an issue or a problem they will talk down to you and tell you that you are the problem and that you need help. - There is no one to go to that you can trust when you have an issue. Not even the president of the company.

Pros

Casual dress code, Employee-Owned so good Stock Options

Cons

Directors don't listen to advice from employees despite requests. They continue to work in the stone age. The industry is changing and they refuse to change with it. They don't deal with problem employees - just shrug their shoulders and say well that's just how so-&-so is. They promote and "reorganize" all the time. Placing people in positions that aren't qualified and never post the position internally or externally! If you aren't part of the original group that have been there for 15+ years, good luck making it or convincing them you have something worthwhile to offer. The company is going down hill fast. Just ask about their turn over rate throughout the last 12 months!
