Pros

Good training Kids are lovely

Cons

This company and this nursery and it’s management in particular is a joke! The way they treat their staff is absolutely appalling! While working there I was subject to bullying by other members of staff. After multiple attempts of trying to repot this to management I was ignored and was told that they were either ‘too busy’ or ‘had a stressful day’ to actually listen. On one occasion I had to take time out in the staff room due to having a panic attack due to being forced to work in a such a hostile environment, and rather than being supported, I was told by a member of the management team that she ‘can’t just sit here crying all day, you actually have to go and do your job’ I Have a history of anxiety and depression and after months of bullying and abuse with no support from the company I attempted to take my own life and even then the company still showed no compassion. The company apparently did an investigation into the incident and the result was that the company had apparently done everything they could to support me in everything that had happened in my time with the company which I believe to be complete rubbish.

Pros

Great salary. Great promotional opportunities Training programmes and employee assistance

Cons

Full time hours are often 40 plus overtime. Overtime can vary from 30 mins to 1.5 hours. Daily. Poor management support for contract variations. Often investigations for minor accident and injury forms. (Compulsory but sometimes a waste of employee time when they can refer to CCTV)

Pros

The only useful benefit is the uniform... and maybe childcare discount for parents. Few years ago it used to be a very good company to work for, but after all the changes it isn't any more.

Cons

Very high expectations and low pay. Not flexible in terms of doctor appointments, child illnesses and other health and family problems. Most of the main benefits reduced or stopped. Training reduced to minimum and very often organised during (unpayed ) lunch breaks. High number of people left the company in the last few months, including managers.
