Pros

None that I hve seen.

Cons

Be very careful of BioMedical Division under Steve Shaw. This guy is a first class slimeball. He is a bully and discriminates openly. Literally drove the Companies most recent BioMedical acquisition into the ground (sales down 75%-80% under his watch). They alter sales data and steal commissions.

Pros

The work is interesting and challenging.

Cons

- Lack of clear vision, direction or leadership. - Leaders try and push processes that are half finished and expect that they will go over well with the teams. There is a lack of attention to detail and thought into how these programs will actually work. When they end up not working, they try and find someone to take the fall. - Leaders do not clearly communicate expectations or provide constructive feedback. - Work/life balance is non-existent and you will be criticized if you try to have some. - Diversity is not a focus for the company. Women are treated horribly within the company and comments that are viewed as sexist or discriminatory are tolerated. - There have been constant layoffs within the past year. - Long term employees are not valued and the culture has been lost with the new leadership team. - The leadership team does not understand what is going on at the different sites. There are a lot of assumptions made and decisions based on those assumptions.

Pros

Close to home job and a great group of production folks to work with. We all care for each other like family.

Cons

Most all of the small “perks” we use to receive have been done away with since the Corporate big wigs have moved to Ball Ground. They come around occasionally yet don’t speak to the “little people”. It’s pathetic and people are quitting.

Thank you for your feedback. Over the past year, Chart has experienced significant change with a new senior leadership team, as well as the relocation of the corporate office from Ohio to the Ball Ground (Georgia) facility. As a result, the campus has experienced some changes. However, we pride ourselves on having an open door policy, and strive to ensure our employees’ voices are heard. We recently rolled out an anonymous employee engagement survey, where we received both positive and constructive feedback. This feedback has been shared across our leadership teams and action plans are being developed to address concerns identified through the engagement survey.
