      Great Company

      Pros

      A great company with very good people, good customer relationships and a clear sense of direction. A broad range of offerings in the IBM spaces means there is always something interesting to do.

      Cons

      Like many companies in the software and services arena the transition of business model to from the delivery of on premise solutions to cloud is a challenge. Mangement need to be closer to the customers and to the people at the coal face.

      Pros

      Some very talented people, some very committed people. A good base to work from. Some great younger talent that needs to be given its head.

      Cons

      Your first career limiting move is signing on the dotted line. And from there its not going to get a lot better. Appalling work life balance, lip service to anything better. Work hard play hard doesn't apply here. Its work hard, be hard or fall by the wayside. Senior Management who are out of touch with the staff and out of touch with the market in which they work. Products and Solutions that no body really wants. Single vendor centric and closed minded. Not innovating despite feeling they are. Growth is all by acquisition, absorb it and watch it wither. Lots and lots of unhappy people who are not encouraged or supported. Only one senior executive that genuinely cares. No unifying culture, no team atmosphere, no real teamwork.

      Highly skilled people, excellent career development opportunities, recognition and appreciation, high growth, fun culture, feel achievement, every day is different,

      Ill have to think about that :) - In my role I don't see any major Cons but I will update my profile if I come across any.
