Pros

While I enjoy many "things" about Centrinex, allow me to illustrate why you should choose this company. No Seniority lists. If you show up, perform at minimum expectations or better, and display a professional and positive attitude; advancement awaits. Advancement is not contingent on how long you have been parking in the lot. There is no "requirements" for any position. If you show you have the ability and the ambition; they will train you the position. Advancement comes from the rank and file first... nearly all promotions since I have been here (90%+) have been from inside the company. I have decided to "hang my hat here".. if you are looking for more than just a job. If you are looking for a career opportunity at a place that rewards good performance, wants to advance their entry level personnel into management positions, and will honestly give your suggestions a try... Come join us... we want you too.

Cons

The main con for me, is what most find beneficial. I get exhausted by all the Spirit Weeks that entail dressing in costumes or the like, all the community charities we donate to or assist in some way shape or form ( although it allows me to say I gave at the office; which is good I guess) , and constantly taking employees off the floor for business related continued education (Centrinex U)... I sometimes wish they would just let us work instead of all the extracurricular stuff we do, but again... most people enjoy it.

CEO Response: Thank you for an awesome review. You hit the nail on the head in so many ways. With our Spirit stuff, I get that it can be tiring for sure. I think sometimes we try to be all things to all people. Sincerely, Bart N Miller CEO/Owner - Centrinex

Pros

It's easy to get hired. Easy to remember passwords. There really aren't any pros here.

Cons

They use employees and keep using them like an evolving door. Basically as soon as you're hired you make one slip-up even if they see what happens they'll fire you. And then they make a scene when they'll fire you and pick you out of everybody everybody knows what happens once they take you to the back office and then they don't see you. They make a spectacle out of people being fired. Even if you are good with customers and your calls are 100% it was a manager doesn't like you they'll try to put you under.

CEO Response: I am sorry that you had a poor experience while you were here, but let me set the record straight for you and everyone else. Hiring employees is an extremely expensive and time consuming process. Having to let people go is one of the worst things we have to do as an organization. There is absolutely no benefit for Centrinex to let people go since we invest so much effort and money into getting the employees here. We only get paid when the CSR's work, so if we let one of you go, we do not get paid. We try to be respectful of people in the unfortunate circumstance when someone has to be let go. I'm sorry if you felt that you weren't given that respect. In addition, I can assure you that I do not condone any"cliques" in this call center with the exception of the clique of getting to work on time every day and working hard when you are here. But I want EVERYONE to be in THAT clique! Prayers to you to and your future endeavors. Sincerely, Bart N Miller CEO/Owner

Pros

Location My schedule (which I had to apply & wait four months to get Overall job tasks/ non stressful job Learned new things

Cons

No true value system ( I over heard management say to a new hire;" This is the place you gain call center experience then quit & find a better job.) Now that's inspiring. Now new hire start at $11.50 HR We started at $10HR - this company FAILS (in many areas) Doesn't regard your education or professional work experience NON- negotiable pay, just a flat rate across the scale No clear work path No support, workers at elevated levels care not for you & your success (fearful you might one day replace them) No help desk, just floor walkers Unprofessionalism High turnover rate (I suppose to be expected with call centers) Loud Frequent Profanity use No upward mobility No 401K/ discount tickets to say: movies, dining, theme parks, etc. No gift cards No incentives POOR management Favoritism for people who don't even perform well company culture People have worked here for 4-5 years with no raise in 2 yrs People get fired for poor attendance then rehired with in 1-2 months with same pay rate & great schedule , without having to reapply & re-earn it. They should start at the bottom or better yet, non- eligible for rehire Sitting all day/ watched like a hawk/ caged like a bird Drab looking work environment- no window view
