Pros
Location, nice office, a few coworkers.
Cons
Rarely do employees here give two weeks. They just get up and leave in the middle of the day or never come back. Management will blame the individual employees but now I see these people were pushed to their breaking limits. I know because several times I felt the same way. Management will increasingly give you more and more work and if your desk looks too clean or organized that must mean you need more work. If you are unable to keep up with your work load you need to "try harder" as I was told on occasion. At one point I was the only AP specialist in the department because they all quit. Since I have left, no one in the AP dept has been there a year. Turn over for this position is very high. You will be talked down to and scolded like a child. Your intelligence will be insulted. Any amount of talking with your coworkers will be seen as "chit chatting" and will be told to stop. Management rarely speaks to you unless you did something wrong or someone is complaining about payment. Management will never have your back and will tell you, "this is a CYA department". All of this will be told to you with smiles and they will try to make you feel as if things will get better and make empty promises but things never did get better and promises were never kept.
