      Some good people work here.

      I haven’t been able to work in full time employment since leaving in 2023 because this business impacted my physical and mental health so badly. The CEO is manipulative, leads through fear, and can be a bully. I am one of many who had to have mental health assistance because of this workplace. Even if you think you can help create change, unfortunately you’ll soon realise you won’t be able to. There are great minds who work here and some amazing humans but the business exploits them. The pressure and expectations are high. The CEO changes his mind constantly, and micromanages his business. You won’t be empowered here, your creativity will drain from you eventually, and you’ll likely lose your confidence. At one point when I was working here we were asked to write good reviews on Glassdoor (which I stupidly did out of fear), so be careful to believe everything you read.

      Lots of potential and some growing pains

      Pros

      The people are fantastic: incredibly smart, kind, and good at their jobs. Lots of potential for growth if you lean in. Flexible working with lots of team meet ups so you can work from home but don't feel isolated

      Cons

      Heavy workload and recruitment doesn't seem to happen fast enough (the good thing is that they are actively hiring) Processes are cumbersome and there is a lot of work we do that can be automated.

      Pros

      You get a chance to have impact and be an influencer of change. Catalyx is on a high growth journey with a challenger entrepreneurial approach, which is exciting to be part of. The business is made up of great people who look out for each other. Driving positive change is fulfilling and amazing to be involved in.

      Cons

      This is not the place for people who don't like change and don't have a problem-solving attitude. The nature of a growing company means it is fast-paced, which will suit many looking to work more innovatively, efficiently and better, but not for those who don't like to adapt.
