      Don't rock the boat baby!

      Get mission with wonderful bennies

      Cons

      Keep your head down do your work. If you rock the boat you will go no place with CAP. One manager has been promoted 4 times in 2 years while others over looked. In SW WA hard work is not recognized or rewarded. Many clients fall between the cracks due to the high turn over and very few people applying for open jobs. Below standard pay for jobs. only cost of living allowance for raises. High school is a live and well in SW WA as long as you are in the right clique you will excel!

      Pros

      Union represented workplace offered strong protections and benefits. Work was fulfilling. Culture among front-line staff was supportive and fun.

      Cons

      Persistent behavior and decision-making from upper management that did not align with my values.

      Great people, dedicated staff; Programs & organization continuously seeking ways to improve how they serve the community; Solid benefits package and good starting pay for most positions, with incentives built in for longevity.

      Cons

      The work can be more than people anticipate, either emotionally or volume of work (or both); Many positions offer some or a lot of autonomy, so people who need more structure or a high-level of daily direction may struggle.
