      Pros

      It's very quiet and relaxed there, and some of the staff is polite and courteous.

      Cons

      You will have to go out of your way to complete tasks not listed in the job description. Some of the staff is unprofessional as well, and office drama runs rampant throughout the workplace.

      Pros

      People who work here really care about making a difference in the community! At least in my current department, colleagues are very supportive and fun to work with, making for excellent teamwork. Good health insurance, nice vacation and sick time accruals.

      Cons

      Part-time salaried staff do not get paid holidays like full-time salaried staff which means when there is a holiday you must work other hours or use vacation time. Most positions have little to no possibility for growth and salaries are not better than average for libraries.
