Pros

- Great job, interesting and always have work to do - Allocated your own cases the day you finish your induction that are your responsibility - Hit the ground running and think on your feet but you learn so much and experience so much growth because of it - Flexibility for home working - Exciting clients - Good job security with a promising future - Supportive, fun and friendly working culture - Flat hierarchy; even the most senior members will listen to, respect and act on your opinion, with room for some banter on the side - Excellent training - Will support your extra curricular activities and interests - You start the job with a cohort of other trainees, so there's people on your level to share your experience with, get advice from, and become friends with

Cons

- Work requires a high level of focus and attention to detail - Very Oxbridge - Not particularly diverse - Poor female-to-male ratio in Engineering leadership - Haven't got to know people as well as I would like because of lockdown (been in the office only 2 days out of my 4 months here) - Not everyone is as approachable - Poor social mixing between departments

Pros

The staff are quite nice to work with The payroll - when negotiated properly is good Company wide Bonus and salary increases

Cons

Abusive Management IT Director is the cause of the issues that people are NOT staying within the department Revolving door within the IT Department - Some quality people have not lasted more than 1 week due to the toxic environment created by the IT Director The "Boys" Club is something that you can experience - if you are not in the club good luck surviving with the Technology department

Pros

The working atmosphere is nice.

Cons

There's a lack of team alignment, a wide gap between support staff and lawyers, no trust or communication, and a very toxic and controlling environment. Most of the previous hires were hired through a referral scheme, which creates a mean-spirited cult where outsiders will never fit in and results in bullying them out. The management has funny ways of dealing with people; they would rather get rid of people who point out the issues because they don't want to deal with them and keep the bullies. Favoritism runs high in there. One manager in particular has been known to bully other staff members. The firm has acted in her favour and done nothing about this. Absolutely disrespectful and insulting behaviour, in fact.
