I worked at CRG for a year and a half as a member of the senior leadership team. During my time there, I led large client projects, coached junior team members, and led various internal initiatives. I have nothing but positive feedback for the leadership team and my former colleagues. CRG is a company with high performers that do great work and put in the necessary hours to create high quality deliverables for their clients. The partners and senior leadership team is open to feedback and are committed to continuous improvement. The culture is supportive of learning and open communication. The reason I left was for a unique opportunity in a sector I am passionate about. I would recommend CRG to both new management consultants looking for a place to start their career, as well to those with a lot of experience looking for a place to add value and contribute in a meritocracy.
Cons
Not really a con, but this is a company with staff that work hard and perform at a high level, similar to top global consulting firms like BCG and McKinsey. Job seekers should know this when applying.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us; we are glad to hear that your time with us was memorable and filled with positive experiences. CRG takes pride in operating as a meritocracy and recognizing our team's performance through various formal and informal rewards.
CRG was recently certified as a Great Place to Work® after a thorough and independent analysis by the Great Place to Work Institute® Canada.
- Some of the smartest people you will meet
- Highly collaborative firm - they are interested in your success as much as the firms
- The focus on your personal development is like nothing you will experience anywhere. Honest feedback that you can use to accelerate your career at the firm, with clients or back in industry
- Truly live the work hard play hard mantra . Successes are rewarded personally but then also celebrated as a team
- Strong reputation with clients (boutique firm competing/winning against the big consulting firms)
- Performance based culture; rewards are given when warranted not based on some annual cycle (if you are motivated that could be several times during the year)
Cons
- The work is challenging and the problems complex - so if you are looking for routine and simple work this will not be a place for you
- Hours can be long, so self managing and setting expectations is key
