Pros

They have created a great working environment that incorporates autonomy, mentorship, coaching, and overall support well. Even though it can be a difficult job at times, the leadership here does do all they can to support you to succeed. I couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity to work here and grow as a recruiter.

Cons

Agency recruiting can be a difficult job to do. You have to juggle many moving things at a time while still developing your business to ensure you have future roles to fill. This isn't necessarily a con if you like to be challenged daily and are resilient when things dont quite go your way. So, it could be a rough position if you need a firm structure and do not do well with rejection. Overall, nothing bad to say about the company, but I believe that the job itself is not something everyone would enjoy doing or fully succeed at.

Pros

The commission rate is high... but that's it. There is nothing else to recommend. No benefits, no earned vacation, no base pay, nothing. Can't speak to culture in values beyond they seem to value taking advantage of people and openly manipulating them.

Cons

1) they treat you like a child. You have report in and out for every little thing, and they listen to everything you do and track your computer activity and count your calls, which they don't tell you in advance. 2) Did I mention no base pay? Draw is pathetic. $2-3k. No one can live on that in this area. 3) No benefits. At all. Nothing. 4) Treated like a child 5) Management/ownership are like carnival barkers. They say lots of old sales schtick like they thought of it and it's meaningful. In reality, it's the same recycled sales quotes that (bad) managers say to sound wise but they pulled from some 50yo sales manual. One of the managers likes to say the thing twice- second time more slowly. Expects everyone to nod like its sage advice when really it's meaningless. 6) Management has no actual experience running a real company, only what they do. They like to act like big shots playing and manipulating their clients and candidates, but are fooling no one. It's kind of embarrassing. The more they brag about what they know and how much they make, you can bet it's compensating for the truth. 7) Their clients are mostly in blue collar stuff and are deeply unpleasant and resentful of independent recruiters. Grumpy and know nothing about hiring and won't give you the time to explain anything. In this market, recruiters are a nuisance. 8) They will tell you anything to get you if they think you have even a little ability. Since it's commission-only, they have low investment into getting you into their revolving door. They consistently have hiring issues (weird for a recruiting agency!) and the people already there will only care about you to a point because they don't want to waste time getting to know you when they are pretty sure you will either walk out or get fired. When the managers tell you how much money you can make, they are basing it off one person, who would do a lot better if he left them and went independent. He's holding up the company. He is the exception. 9) office is tiny. You get zero privacy. They tell you you should take breaks and eat lunch but if you do they judge you for it. If you have an appointment, you have to sign out for it EVEN THOUGH THEY TECHNICALLY DON'T PAY YOU. 10) They will shut down the office for holidays and stuff, but encourage you to work anyway. 11) They act like they are training you, but they don't. So, if you make a mistake or don't figure something out, they will act like you should have known and aren't you stupid for not knowing something you were never trained to know? 12) One manager is embarrassingly young, but acts like he knows everything. It would be hilarious if it were not so sad and he wasn't so rude and dismissive to employees. He openly plays favorites. 13) When you quit- which happens often, according to the people who work there-, the managers will say they will help you and stuff, but they completely ghost you, instead. Don't count on a reference, no matter how hard you worked. They don't have time for you. 14) They tell you everyone works together, but it's really very cut throat.
