Pros
This is a great company to get your experience and go on to better things, especially if tax credit is your forte. If you submit and stay obedient to the family you will be protected but not necessarily rewarded. If you like to survive in an institution with no growth opportunity, this is the company for you.
Cons
If you work hard for promotion, you will take on more responsibilities and additional "titles", but you won't see any more pay. Nepotism is rampant at all levels in this company. Sad. You will not be promoted based on merit. The company does not value community managers with higher education or wanting to pursue industry certifications. They will not help provide support. They want you to dumb it down. You will have zero privacy as a community manager - you will share an email address with your entire community. That's really great when you have to provide counsel to an associate. Senior management has lost touch with reality, and you will work with very old processes, and you will fall behind the times if you stay with this company. You will not receive any bonus off NOI, you will be provided an elementary picnic type reward for busting your butt at this company. Get your experience and head for the door.
