      Top heavy but positive changes being made

      Pros

      -Small company which means it easily maintains a good culture -Working from home is OK -Very good pay for all class of employees. Like well above what even the much larger companies pay.

      Cons

      -It was very top heavy dominated by IT which spent a mind-blowing amount of money and produced practically nothing. -The previous CEO spent a lot of time caring about how we "looked" to our investors and partners rather than actually making difficult decisions and looking for innovative ways to grow

      Hybrid Small team Not a lot of people in the office everyday Secure building Paid parking by employer

      Cons

      Micromanagement vibes Hybrid 3 days in office 2 from home Should be fully remote to save on rent No direct leadership To many "do you want to join groups" for employee events Location is in the Bay Area. Pay doesn't reflect Bay Area pay scale, look elsewhere for competitive Bay Area pay. Business uncertainty they had a total of 3 layoffs while I was employed and assuming they had subsequent layoffs due to ex colleagues Linkedin profiles.

      Canopy is realigning its target business market

      Pros

      It’s a smaller Accountable Care Network organization with a unique value based healthcare model for managed care with a twist. Wonderful people who work there who care and share the workload.

      Cons

      They are realigning there future direction that required layoffs of almost 1/3 of the staff. There is uncertainty about where they are going in the future and what clientele they will service.
