Pros

Onsite "gym" and good benefits Don't have anything else good to say but have to fill space so that is what is happening.

Cons

Favoritism runs rampant, Not enough communication between departments. Upper management doesn't care about employees that don't fall into their clique

Pros

I've been there for over 20 years and believe me when I say the PROS at this business have all left the company, some by choice and some by force. The benefits of insurance is why most stay and have so many years invested in the company. It is a real shame what the new regime has done. Lots of back stabbing in upper management and bullying to those they feel are below them.

Cons

So many that I could go on for days and days. Just sad what the company has become. Management is so bad it is a daily struggle to just come to work here.

A Tough Place to Work

Pros

Had very good benefits and encouraged wellness. Many good folks who worked hard. Location was ideal on the edge of the city and near the interstate.

Cons

Very unprofessional place to work. Playing favorites was a huge problem and caused low morale. If you were visible to the CEO and he liked you, you could go anywhere you wanted and get the best raises and bonuses - not necessarily on performance but because he knew who you were and you had "kissed up" to him. The best and most dedicated workers were not always rewarded. Many undeserving managers were so engaged in promoting themselves, they forgot who was working for them.
